BrainTrader Investments, Inc. is a private corporation with Patrick M. Dolan and Joseph S. Zirilli as Principals, and Michael P. Dolan serving as President. BTI also works closely with an Advisory Board which consists of highly knowledgable CPAs, lawyers, and other business owners who provide valued advice to BTI's business practices.
Michael P. Dolan
President
Michael Dolan currently oversees all the trading and asset management duties for all of BTI's clients. He has a degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Computer Applications from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
Previously Mike was employed as a Consultant for Fidelity Management & Research Company (the investment advisor to the Fidelity family of mutual funds). Prior to that, Mike was a Financial Advisor at the premier investment bank, Morgan Stanley. He began his career at the firm's headquarters, previously located in the World Trade Center in Manhattan. Most recently Mike has worked for a specialized consulting firm who advises investment banks and leading financial institutions in the structured finance industry.
He has passed the Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 investment licensing examinations. Mike believes in a disciplined planning approach to the investment process. His experience with a wide array of investment products and clientele allow him to help investors build, manage, and preserve their financial assets.
Joseph S. Zirilli
Chief Investment Officer
Joseph S. Zirilli is a research scientist who created the BrainTrader© prediction model and is the Chief Investment Officer for BrainTrader Investments, Inc. Joe has a Masters degree from Rutgers University in Computer and Electrical Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
He is also the author of "Financial Prediction Using Neural Networks" which was published by International Thompson Computer Press in 1997. Joe owns MJ Futures, a software development firm specializing in artificial intelligence systems for predicting financial markets.
He was previously a Commodity Trading Advisor for MJ Futures and provided independent futures and stock analysis and predictions. He continually updates and improves upon the systems that BrainTrader Investments utilizes for their clients.
Patrick M. Dolan
Chief Financial Officer
Patrick M. Dolan is the co-founder of BrainTrader Investments. Patrick is retired from the fields of education and computer technology. He previously was the Northeast Sales Representative for Learning Technology Systems, Inc (LTS). Prior to joining LTS, Inc. Pat had a successful career in education where he started as a Mathematics teacher in the Syracuse Schools and progressed through the position of High School Principal and on to Superintendent of the Onondaga Central Schools.
Pat's avid interest in technology led to him working for Apple Computer, Inc. for six years as an Educational Technology Consultant. He has been a long-term investor in the stock market and co-founded an investment club in the Syracuse area that is now in its seventh year.
Pat has followed the progress of the use of neural networks in the financial world for over five years tracking daily progress and long term trends. Pat has passed the Series 65 - Uniform Investment Advisor Law examination.
